This policy explains how Display Studio handles user settings, local browser data, server-synced data and uploaded images in the normal operation of the software.
To improve speed and support offline use, the software may store cached catalogue data, recent work, local print queues and other temporary information in your browser storage.
This local data can remain on the device until cleared by the browser or by the user/admin.
When server-linked modes are used, selected information may be sent to the Worker/D1/R2 stack, including device updates, shared photo mappings, templates and settings, depending on the enabled features.
Images may be loaded from remote storage such as R2. If the network is unavailable, only already-cached or local information may remain accessible.
Only upload images you are authorised to use.
Access to admin areas should be restricted to authorised staff only. Users are responsible for keeping login details secure on shared devices.
In Static Only mode, work may remain local and may not upload to the server. In server-linked modes, selected data may sync when connectivity is available.
Admins should periodically review backups, device data and any locally stored work on shared computers. Clearing browser data may remove offline/local queue items.
For internal deployment, the business operating Display Studio should define who is responsible for backups, permissions and day-to-day data handling.
